The Sayward Fire Department is seeking applicants to join our dynamic team of dedicated volunteer firefighters and first responders. Successful applicants will benefit from regular skill enhancing training sessions, and opportunities for additional training to earn special qualifications.

Once your application is approved and you have completed your new member orientation program, plan on attending weekly practice sessions from 1900 to 2100 (7pm to 9pm) each Monday.

Some extra certifications may be available for you to earn as you become a more experienced firefighter, including:

• Air Brakes Endorsement
  
  
• Automobile Extraction
  
  
• Basic Life Support
  
  
• Emergency Medical Assistant
  
  
• Emergency Medical Responder
